NGMAAD 9.26.14 rezizedJoin the Staff of the African American Office of Gay Concerns as we join forces with the New Jersey HIV Planning Group (NJHPG) to observe the National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The one-day event will be held at the Rutgers Cook Campus Center in New Brunswick. It is open to the public, and is specifically designed for both providers and those seeking more insight into the current HIV epidemic as it affects gay and same-gender loving men across the state. According to the Gay Men’s Workgroup, this event will aim to refocus our efforts in identifying, addressing and developing strategies to overcome specific barriers that contribute to the steadily increasing rates of HIV amongst gay communities in New Jersey. Free parking, and lunch will be provided. Registration details can be found at http://bit.ly/NJGayMenAwareness
